Never seen Lorne sausage down here though. Have had it in Scotland, in a hotel. It was tasty, but it has quite a lot of big chunks of fat in it compared to normal sausages. If sausage is the poor man's steak, then fuck knows what Lorne sausage is supposed to be. Still, I love black pudding and that's as deprived as it gets in terms of raw ingredients.
