Her things are packed; there wasn't much. Old ring gear -- worn and torn; new ring gear -- still to come? A few photos. A handful of personal belongings. She leaves the keycard on the bed, as she was told. Surprisingly few mementos, but a whole lot of memories, good, bad and in between.
Her mind drifts back to those early days with Amy. Sometimes it felt like those two against the world. Before things got so... complicated. If Sola had only known then -- well, she didn't.
Amy, Holly, Rabbit, Karna. The match they all had. The rivalry or friendship or more that some of them shared or wanted or never had. Sola never faced Rabbit; maybe understandable. But to think she never even shared the ring with Holly? There was a time Sola would have died for this Dojo against the likes of Holly.
She has to think of Lightning Nika and Little Beaver. Sola still thinks and will always think about what could have been with Nika; a match, a rivalry, a friendship. But they will only ever be thoughts, because of Nika. Because of how she threw it all away, time and time. Little Beaver... well, she'll be around. Sola isn't banned forever... is she?
Of course, there's Ash and LILLITH, who helped bring it back up from those embers with some help from The Queen's coffers. Ash's work here has been...unmatched. All of the people Sola thinks of, and yeah, even herself. But what she did to Carmody can't go unpaid. LILLITH isn't a great cook, but God, she knows how to make people strong. Something about her always made Sola uneasy; something to be settled in the ring, maybe?
Paule, Kanako, Kuro Noire II. Well, they could have been more. Sola would have loved that. So much. But one way or another, it just never worked out. Only met Maaike recently. Sola knows of Huldra, but never met her.
