It was bad enough in Vietnam where draftees were incredibly unreliable and would either desert or just simply not give a shit.
You’d be surprised at how easily you can skirt danger in the fog of war. Just be the guy that hangs back and hope you get lucky.
Either way, unless the MPs are prepared to go Terminator on this generation of draftees for deseration/insubordination, you’re gonna have the worst fighting force the world has ever seen. I legitimately think court martial executions will outnumber combat deaths.
