>>19707655>>19707661Doesn’t matter. For one the woman shot was not an actress mid-scene. They were goofing around and he pointed the gun at her and pulled the trigger for show.
Also. Anyone who intends to regularly handle firearms should be trained. Whether that’s part of a licensing procedure or not, I’m not going to argue. But again these are lethal weapons. You’re trained to drive a car and tested to a functional standard. The same should be true of firearms. Or people get killed. Just like this.
And also, Mr. Baldwin has been a Hollywood actor for decades. He has handled firearms his entire career. He has zero excuse for unsafe weapons handling. I don’t care if the most insured and qualified armourer in the world hands me a gun and says it’s safe. It is my personal (and professional) responsibility to check for myself to ensure the weapon I am in custody of is fit and safe. Again. Or People Die.
The buck stops with him. He pointed it. He pulled the trigger. He’s responsible.
Go listen to this on repeat until that sets in.
