Question of the day: I would never have guessed what name medical lab couriers use colloquially to refer to the boxes they use to transport vials of piss and blood around with. The box is a large plastic toolbox. It's the same thing you would buy in home depot labelled tool box. Plastic thing, handle, latches, same shape. The courier dudes call them "buckets". Tomorrow I will try to find out the etymology of that term. I am imagining a time when couriers would cart around literal buckets of blood and piss.
