I can also see how for a younger person the individual benefit of the vaccine is tiny.That would be the case if vaccinations were evenly distributed among age groups, but they are not.
Unvaxxed people have 3x higher mortality even though it is much more common in younger people to be unvaxxed than in older people.
E.g. people aged 65+ are 99% vaxxed while people aged 16-24 are only ~90% vaxxed
