Death is not the polarity of life. The polarity of death is birth, they are principles (gods) of transition (not a condition/state). Life is eternal, and nothing that exist is "wasted" and "gone" so to say, everything simply transforms into a new shape, the world of spirit and nature creates itself again and again.
Nothing comes from nothingness, in fact nothingness does not exist, because it already negates itself.
