As far as the anger, I suppose I can't know all the time, since I talk to strangers sometimes when I go out and don't check up on them. But from those I can, I've noticed some of them have gotten rather staunch and driven as a result of it - they aren't letting go of the anger, but rather using it, as they tend to do.
The midwit sorts of remarks I understand. I've made those sorts of remarks when I didn't know any better, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. It's a really disgusting way of thinking that should be stomped out on sight, but instead it's been allowed to thrive.
