Don't wait for travel restrictions to life, I'm sure you can hitch a ride on some boat or by traveling to another country first that isn't on the travel restrictions list, like Greenland or Canada or something. We're 99 days from the election here and I don't think things will be too peaceful in 100 days. Once you get here you can worry about nationalization later.
