African slave folk music (which evolved into genres like the blues) is derived from Americana (white music), Irish slave music ("white" music), Anglo music (white music), and lower class Scott music (white music). In fact you can find the basic song structure of rock and roll in Scottish music from the 1700s and 1800s. Modern nigger music professors even generally agree that black gospel music has its roots in Medieval scotland.
This is not farfetched because lower class Scotts in America often worked similar jobs to Negro slaves, and Irish slaves were kept with Negro slaves.
