I doubt it. I got KTFO pretty badly by a car wreck a few years ago and effectively 'died' for a while after the incident due to cardiac arrest. But it wasn't terrifying or painful at all. What I remember is the sensation of something like a large heavy blanket being draped over me, and then I went numb and passed out.
