I knew it! I knew today was cursed from the moment I put my shirt on inside out this morning. I came home, turned on burner to heat a pan to make dinner and out of the corner of my eye I see smoke. Thermo switch on the burner fried out so the burner goes to max power and stays there with no temperature control. I know how to fix this but it's a pain in the ass to get the part due the age of the oven.
