Nikki starts the day in a good mood the morning after spending the previous night in Club Xtacy with Spirit and Sheila. She had two goals. Taking control of Club Xtacy while Cassie was away was the first. Mission accomplished, sort of.
The other was to learn more about demons, specifically the one she encountered. A visit to the local library yielded nothing of note. But the Royal Archives in The Queen’s castle… that’s the kind of place that would certainly have all the information Nikki could ever need. All she had to do was go to The Kingdom, visit The Queen’s castle and ask her for access.
Coco’s voice interrupts Nikki’s thoughts.
>What? You expect to just ask her? And you think she’ll say yes?
“Why wouldn’t she?” Nikki replies. “She hosted me and the other Divine Angels during Clash in the Castle-”
>Did you forget how unpleasant she was to you? To us? She HATED us, it was clear as day. If you go there and ask for what we want, she’ll say no. I guarantee it.
“So what should we do?” Nikki asks.
Coco’s laughter echoes in her head.
>Simple, we don’t ask her. We take what we want.
>Now, I remembered that you planned to go to The Kingdom after our business with sister’s nightclub, so while you were asleep I took control of our body and booked us a nice hotel. It’s not too far from the royal castle, which is perfect because during the night, we’re breaking in, infiltrating the Royal Archives and finding out anything we could possibly need to know about that demon!
Nikki folds her arms. “A break in? At The Queen’s place? You really think I could pull that off?”
Coco laughs.
>I believe WE can do whatever the fuck we want! The nightclub thing worked out, didn’t it?
Nikki’s expression brightens. “Yeah… yeah! You’re right! I’ll be like a sexy spy! In and out of there without anyone suspecting a thing. Ok, Coco, let’s do this.”
