as for food I ate a cliff bar at the 12 mile point, and somwhere in there I tried eating a rice crispy treat but it was frozen solid (it was like -12C outside) and I couldnt take a bit out of it!! hahahaha!

all you need is a backpack, a pair of boots (optional unless you want a "authentic" experience) and enough weight!
I'd recommend you throw clothes in your backpack for the weight, or maybe like some shoes!!
to start I say you should do 15 pounds and ruck for 4 miles!
