if you found someone you're really happy with, you should pursue it
if you end up happy, and your dad loves you, he should eventually come around & respect you
him being disappointed you didn't have a bunch of sex is kind of a violation of boundaries, it's your life
and if it goes wrong, your dad will say "i told you so" or whatever, and it'll be fine
but if you found someone special, you should pursue/honor it decisively
that's what i'm saying
