if i email the manager that deals with the schedules i know that my request to not be scheduled any more despite technically putting in a two weeks notice will be heard directly but that guy's kind of a dick and might go out of his way to ignore my request out of spite.
if i email the highest ranking manager he'd definitely agree that there's no reason for me to be scheduled any more but i just have to trust he'll direct the scheduling manager not to give me any more shifts
