If he had waited even 1 more year Russia would have been even more heavily armed and probably would have taken Poland preemptively.
Where Hitler fucked up was invading during one of the worst winters on record, and also not vetting his own henchmen better... who were on the take with the Financial Elites overseas. Mussolini had the same problem.
This is the problem with an NS Fascism... the guy at the top might be made of brass but you have all the middlemen and if any of them are crooked the rot spreads from within.
