>>6605813>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solomon_Asch#Conformity_experimentsThe famous conformity experiments by Solomon Asch show that the mind can be hacked.
A dozen or so participants would be asked a simple question, such as "Which of these three lines is the longest?" They would answer in turn, aloud. But every participant was an actor, except for the last one to answer, and all the actors would confidently say the wrong answer first. The actual subject of the experiment, last to answer, would feel overwhelming pressure to say the wrong answer, even though the question is easy and the correct answer is clear.
It's a pet theory of mine that we have a very old mechanism of our brain that operates below the conscious level, which has an awareness of and absolute fear of being outcast from society. Going against the grain is a dangerous proposition. Humans are social creatures, and most cannot survive on their own. Being exiled from society in primitive times would mean almost certain death, except for perhaps a strong and experienced male. That is, if the society is even nice enough to only exile you, instead of killing you on the spot. It's extremely dangerous to have a minority opinion.
NPCs are controlled largely through this mechanism. (((They))) don't have to control & manage what a majority of people think. They only have to control *your perception* of what everyone else thinks. That puts overwhelming subconscious pressure on you to conform to that belief. To the NPC's subconscious mind it's a matter of life and death. Leftist SJWs are always weak people that rely on society the most, whereas redpilled rightwing chads are stronger and more self-reliant, thus helping to bypass this conformity-survival mechanism to some degree.
