>>14635500when i was in Peru i saw some of those mummies (in Cuzco, at the museum next to the temple of the sun) and had a really weird experience. the museum area was kind of busy but when i went into the mummy room i was the only one in there and it felt like the temperature dropped about 20 degrees and time slowed down or stopped or something. i looked to the side and three really short little people (2 guys and a woman iirc) wearing like burlap sacks were standing there staring at me. i realized that they were the spirits of the mummified people bi-locating or something so i said, yknow, "sorry that you're put here on display so us gringos stare at you all day" and they smiled and one said something like, "we don't mind." and they put their hand over their heart and then time started back up and the room filled up again. so every time i see pictures of these mummies i put my hand over my heart and sent good vibrations to those incas. I think basically the people chosen for mummification (and trepanation) were the psychic sensitives or intuitive people. it wasn't punishment, it was an honor.
funny, the temperature in my apartment felt like it dropped while i was writing that. shoutout my Incan mummy homies. it's all love, literally all of it.
