Schizomod does this a few times every year, usually lasting a few days to two weeks before he gets board. I don't believe in the "it's just another new janitor" theory because janitors are only assigned to one board and /bant/ is never an option whenever they look for volunteers.
Schizomod will flood /bant/ with imptrash at an even more excessive rate than usual, while also deleting a bunch of regular /bant/ threads in the process.
He genuinely hates /bant/ and has a vendetta for this board. If I remember right this aggressive style of imptrashing and """moderating""" all stemmed from /bant/ stealing a major GET on /g/ in 2018 or 2019. I don't think he actually cares about cleaning /pol/'s catalog.
