>>18415255Corn Girl can barely see as the vortex of corn and debris flies through the air. She steadies her rifle and takes aim at the panda. Corn Girl lines up her shot. She feels the tension in her fingers as she squeezes the trigger.
She fires but rogue corn cobs pelt her from the side causing her to miss.
Piss Panda who is now on all fours trying to resist the vortex' pull turns to Corn Girl. He digs in to the ground making sure to grab onto the roots of the crops to prevent himself from being sucked in. He trudges towards Corn Girl intermittently trying to fling loose corn cobs at the Colonel but more importantly, at the jar.
Seeing the panda slowly turn and make his towards her, Corn Girl steadies her rifle once more and aims for Piss Panda's heart. She looked at to wounded Colonel, clearly trying his best to keep the beast at bay. The man that had her ear but not her heart was risking everything for her. The man she resigned to wait for her as she pursued her dreams to be the best in her field.
She closes her eyes. She thinks of everything that got her to this point; her childhood, her dreams, Sapphire and all her new friends, the WWA, the millions and millions of Corn Nuts, the Colonel, Ma Cornell, Pop Cornell, the farm. Try as she might to visualize all these concepts, only one thing pops into her mind's eye.
She opens her eyes.
>ONIGIRI.She shoots the panda.
