We have a Federal Government on both sides that has no idea how to budget, govern or tax fairly, insane state Governments that spend like it's going out of fashion (Dan Andrews put us in 7 lockdowns, one for 3-4 months which crippled our economy) and lavish themselves with 400k+ salaries, puritanical banning on "dangerous" or "unhealthy" things (airsoft markers are considered a "firearm" here), and to top it all off, a pussified, busybody population that loves to cut down the tall poppy under the guise of "having a fair go". Cigarettes are fucking 50 bucks a pack and people clap about the Government doing a "good job" to prevent smoking related illnesses while 1 in 2 people I see are fatter than how supposedly an American is.
I've really grown to hate Australia in my adult years. This isn't the country my grandparents moved to.
