It seems to all be about resonance and vibrations for the most part, the simpler Vimana are solar powered as they do not actually require much energy. My research indicates the used normal quartz crystal for the piezo electric effect and used it like a transducer to resonate the metal hull of the craft. I was looking for a actual propulsion system but none was ever described so apparently that is it, no propulsion systems are actually described just mercury gyros to orient the craft and what not.
