Lets talk about property (and land) ownership vs renting.
I rented for many years and never really gave a shit about the place or the garden. In fact I avoided places that would need upkeep as it just seemed like a pointless chore. Instead I'd watch porn, play vidya, watch shows etc and was pretty comfy.
Now I own a place, I've gotten much more into gardening and other DIY but rather than it being a chore I love it.
There's something so satisfying about seeing pic related, encouraging birds or making something that is tangibly useful.
I do still enjoy vidya, YouTube etc but I always get grumpy if that's all I've done all weekend.
Do any of you feel the same way?
Does anyone else feel that the whole rental thing is a major contributer to people's lack of pride?
