If you recall the politcians proclaimed "these refugees are worth billions to the country" when in reality they were a shabby unemployable mob now that Tiers 1 and 2 had been exhausted. Well, turns out a million Tier 3 and 4 immigrants into the UK netted Westminster £60billion a year in freshly printed money, a fraction of which made its way down to the ghettos in which these glorious New Citizens were dumped. This would appear to indicate a level of cynicism in the political class - gaming the banking system with the lives of the most wretched people on Earth, and then fucking up the lives of their own citizens who were next door when they landed - bordering on criminality.
