Having recently touched down at Spaghettitown International Airport & Bowling Alley an exhausted and jetlagged Dia Shirley Burroughs had finally returned to The White Tower after a two week whirlwind business trip in Asia. HALCYON had good business partners in Tokyo, Singapore, Seoul and Hong Kong and it had become customary for Dia to do a yearly tour to keep these relationships positive, doing business in Shanghai however had always been troublesome and this year would be no different as an "administrative oversight" had left Dia sitting alone in a meeting room for over an hour and a half until an incredibly apologetic secretary came to break the news that the meeting would have to be rescheduled. At least the view of the city from the top of their skyscraper had been nice.
Upon entering the building one of the security guards, an older gentleman with a limp, had warmly welcomed Dia home and in the smalltalk had mentioned something a looking forward to a match. Assuming he was referring to her next match in the WWA, whenever that may be, she had thanked him for his good work and continued support and after a shared joke concerning the man's ongoing hip trouble she politely excused herself.
On the way to the top of the building the elevator door opened on the twenty-ninth floor and a gaggle of young employees entered. Realising they are sharing a lift with the owner of the company the majority tense up but one idealistic young woman seemingly eager to make an impression decided to engage in conversation. "We're all so excited for your match Ms Burroughs" the employee chirped.
>"My match?"
"Your match against Mighty Milf, we've all brought tickets to watch! We're really looking forward to you bringing the Intercontinental Championship here!", the young woman exclaimed.
>"Intercontinental...? When did this happen?"
The employee continued talking as Dia leaned against the wall of the elevator. Clearly there was something strange going on here.
