as usual with these things a bit difficult to track who's speaking especially when it's just a few sentences taken from the middle of a chapter, but it seems like some intentionally ambiguous wordplay no?
someone asks what she thinks about the sword god and she just says 覚悟, then someone else is confused and asks if she really thinks the only difference between them is his resolve. the god finds this very funny but eris explains that there's no difference at all, she was saying that standing before him makes her feel resolute
put another way i imagine that prior to the first sentence they're talking about the qualities of the sword god, so when someone asks for her opinion it's implied she means 「(剣神の違いは」覚悟」 when in reality she was saying something like「(ついに合ったから私は)覚悟」 all along
but this isn't even hundreds of words so how can that be the case?
