TLDR on the Dunning Kruger effect is that the most stupid, incompetent and uneducated people on the planet all believe they are experts in the things they know nothing about. They all believe they "know better than experts" and so forth. And all of them are just clueless idiots.
This is why you all believe that you're smarter than doctors or scientists or economists. This is why you post screenshots of graphs or cherrypicked studies and pretend it's you being "Smarter than the scientists" or something. This is why you all think "the vaccines are death shots" or "the vaccines don't work" or "climate change isn't real" or "immigration lowers wages" and all of the other rightwing anti-academia BS bumper sticker slogans
