>>19862798There are plenty of direct experiments and observations of evolution in nature, I like the guppy one because it also tells that sexual selection runs counter to natural predator-driven selection. It's what happened to birds-of-paradise in Papua New Guinea, it's a place with plenty of food and no major predators so the birds spent many generations evolving towards maximizing their sexual fitness instead.
