I‘ve never been to rome. Closest i‘ve been would be siena or grosseto. We usually tend to stay in the area of the toscana. Guess i‘m not that much of a city trip person. I‘d rather just stay in a very secluded house in the middle of nature. Maybe i‘ll do a trip to rome one day with my mom. She‘s really fond of italy and is considering buying a house somewhere in umbria.
I live in the middle of switzerland too. Not that fond of the general area since it seems to be the ugliest one compared to the jurassic area or the alps but oh well. We got nice rivers to compensate.
