I've had moments where I just mention something to someone while my phone is in my pocket, like "you wanna go get Burger King?" or "urgh my back hurts" and then when I go on my phone I get a BK ad or an add for meds against back cramps... it's unsettling. But it wasn't always like that, it definitely wasn't back in the early 2000s when the Internet wasn't so commercialized
