Plebbitor here, I'm kind of curious as to why 4chan seems to hate Reddit so much. I personally like to use both platforms, as each is good for different things. There are a lot more subreddits than there are 4chan boards, so Reddit is often it better for following hobbies. Additionally, accounts and the upvote-downvote system forces people to be nicer than you typically see on 4chan. However, 4chan is good for shitposts and you don't have to worry about downvotes or having your reputation tarnished. I'm sure I could think of other things, but this is what comes to mind.
