>>15101576>cityI have to wear several layers of winter clothes when it gets extremely cold, but that's for only a pair of months. Still gets rather hot during summers.
If you ever plan to visit North Eastern Siberia don't go during the summer, unless they somehow adequately address the forest fire issue. Couldn't see 400 meters ahead during this summer because of the smoke pollution.

Don't disrespect the forces of nature, otherwise you might get cursed and will experience spooky stuff, which will make you feel that you are going crazy.
Do feed the spirits with bread and other food, it will bring you good fortune.
Don't disrespect the dead, especially if they were shamans during their life.
If you take something from a spirit's domain leave a gift for them in return.
I have a story, when I was in the forest, stumbled upon a patch with weird looking trees and as I continued going further I saw a carved wooden pole. As I remembered a legend of places near crooked trees being a burial ground for evil despite not being superstitious I got somewhat uneasy, but approached the pole to look at it closer. And when I was inspecting it I heard a voice inside my head that told me "Be afraid".
Ran back to my group and they decided to return to the village after I've told them the story.
I have no idea what happened, but I guess being in a spooky area, with legends attached to it can play some tricks on your mind.
picrel for the pole that looks similar to the one in story
