The Gondola is an ammalgamation of a corruption, of a meme of an innocent branding mascot. The innocence that its original form had returned to it, and all the sarcasm and irony that its previous forms had dissipated. It is a "peak meme" as you call it, it had come full circle. It is seen as a two-legged creature that roams the world around it and observes imaginary/real places. The gondola isn't restricted in the boarders of reality, it can go in any place it seems fit : Paintings, Photos, Ancient historical periods and fantasy. The Gondola is also a meme that represents how we live; we observe and never experience. The traditional 4channer is a person that wants refuge in a community of misfits like him. It is a nest of controversial opinions, loners and complete degenerates. Because of this we feel excluded and just observe others having families, earning nice jobs,etc. We observe our families, friends and enemies sorting things out and getting a family of their own. We are literally gondolas minus the beautiful landscapes.
