How does this happen? You don't talk about things that are cool anymore. You talk about how helpful someone is. You talk about how accommodating someone was in their get-together at the coffee shop. You talk up one another's kickstarters.
If you don't believe me, check out the Shadowdark discord. Kelsey won a pile of awards for her kickstarter game that is an OSR retreat of D&D basic. It's a fine game. Good, dark artwork and great random tables. Why is everyone so enthusiastic? I don't know. She's lesbian. Her discord is full of trannies and white knights who jerk each other off. They have no sense of what is cool and fun for men.
ANY CRITICISM WHATSOEVER is met with cult-like behavior of circling the wagons and virtue signaling behavior of protecting the feelings of whoever you criticized. You will then be gatekept over your "attitude". This is where we are. Fat, wheezing, mouth breathing retards are the new priesthood.
