when dad got together with mom, she made him get sober. course dad was always two steps ahead though, he just put all his drugs into the fireplace, stood real close and breathed deep. said he didn't come down for days.
he was an early adopter of what we now call hallucinogens. the government even paid him to take them down at fort mason. the government was always good to my dad. better than the stock market ever was to him that's for sure.
