That's what I thought, narcotraficante.
I feel like while his art is good and his premises are interesting he has some serious trouble expanding upon his stories. They're short and episodic which means they're self contained and easy to quickly digest so you keep flipping through the pages but overall there's no real development of the story or the characters so by the end it feels like it was all just retreads of "this is tomie, she's a monster and people die".
Every time he seemed to be going somewhere with the character the chapter would abruptly end and it would never pick up again. There are some chapters which are strung together but then those stories are still self contained and never mentioned again.
The ending was somewhat disappointing too but that may just be because I'm usually not too fond of open ended endings.
It was entertaining though.
