>>18407658the problem is that clean, 'drinkable' water is expensive and a limited resource in some areas. and then this water needs treatment when mixed with shit, chemicals and what not. then the treated water will go down the river to the ocean and became salty, until it evaporates and gets back in the aquifer. if you're in a temperate region with rain that's ok, but you still lost energy for the pumping and purification process and sewage treatment but fortunately did not lose precious water, because of equilibrium of renewal on a year to year basis. now if you're in a region that gets its water from Lake Mead, and is in perpetual drought that's another story. your comment is retarded.
