Some do it because they think it's a "Christian" thing to do, but a number of former generations were lied to, and were told it decreased the chance of penile cancer. Most doctors were duped into believing this too, so they all recommended it.
It does not, and the chances of getting penile cancer are so low, it wouldn't have mattered anyway.
This day and age, we are aware of the lies of the jews, and a lot of doctors are NOT recommending it, and even advising it not be done. I hope everyone listens to them.
As for those who were duped into thinking it's a "Christian" thing, I think even Christ stated it didn't matter..maybe some Christbro could verify that?
