i mean just look at how twitch is with all those different forms of gambling
its been one of the biggest things for a long time and a good chunk of the large streamers all got in on the fad
basically people who run these casino sites go up to streamers and offer them a whole bunch of money to stream betting on their audience
and of course theyre given fake funds to do whatever they want with and most likely have the rates rigged as well, to give an illusion that theyre going big and earning a lot
so yeah you can figure what its all about, its entirely based on exploiting how impressionable the people who watch them are, all hopes are on those retarded kids watching that streamer going onto that same site and depositing some money
i think that not long ago twitch actually banned this one type of gamble streaming, but it doesnt even matter because theyre letting like however many other forms of it stay up with no repercussion
and ya thats just one thing of course, like i said some people can have their whole worldviews based off what streamers spout and god its all pathetic
youd think its only kids who would be in this pit but no grown ass motherfuckers fall into it as well

i think he had a stream once and people were bothering him with messages or something and he just went on a tangent about how hes not friends with any of his viewers and hes only here to entertain
most other streamers really like spouting "WELCOME TO THE EXCLUSIVE VIP FAMILY YOURE ONE OF US NOW BROTHER" or some shit like that whenever somebody gives them 2 dollars
and that really feeds into the attachment, makes those people feel like they belong to something
