>>15969887I did sort of think about that, recently. Being a brain in a jar by itself could be possible, if you plug the arteries that go into an artificial blood pump with a filter to remove cell waste and add more nutrients, the hormones produced by other organs, plus clean it of any pathogens, then, maybe. So, that's already pretty out there. But the computer part just makes it way too far-fetched for me.
I think rather than seeing what we see right now, what's more likely if you were a brain in a jar is if you were in a seemingly endless dream. You could pump the brain full of the sleep hormone and you'd dream forever instead of being conscious. Could be great or horrible depending on how it works.

I wonder if that means that some countries were doomed to fall into violence and unrest because of it constantly being hot where they are, that whatever civilization built up there just couldn't think straight enough to move on forward. The effects it makes are likely not drastic enough for that, but, it could definitely be a bit of a factor in there.
Makes you think, what if it the weather were simply colder during the Wild West, would a whole lot of violence just not have happened? And going off that, global warming is actually bringing us closer to World War 3 happening. That's kind of cool.
