it's all a bit counterintuitive but ideally u want to have 2 units with good abilities for elemental combos or buffs, 1 unit for healing, and 1 unit for dps. what u do is just swap and cast abilities whenever they're up then go back to the dps and m1 spam.
since ur dps is just dedicated to m1 spam it doesn't really matter what element they are so it doesn't matter that geo doesn't add any damage, noelle's shield lets her just face tank everything so u don't lose dps by dodging around, and her ult is just over tuned overall
