Any skills you have from muscle memory from other games pretty much goes out the window. They capitalized on gameplay mechanics that were fun 10 years ago haven't really kept pace with modern games. Heavy shooting from his eyes is bad programming and the hit box on spy staying the same is just lazy. It seems like the developers put out the game with janky mechanics just to put it out there.
Lastly items. I'm sorry but no matter what you say the stock items aren't balanced if they add powers like extending invisibility time, adding a second rocket jump and that dash thingy. That's not balanced otherwise new players wouldn't be so turned off.
I've still got another video but I'm still not convinced.
