>>23107231it is in fact very bleak but during times like this i like to image how people from 50 or 60 years ago felt about living in the age of never ending political and ideological turmoil while also being under the constant threat of extinction via nuclear annihilation, surely things right now are not as bad as they used to be especially when some people put the 60's and the 70's on such a high pedestal and sometimes even arguing that those times were perhaps the best time to be alive and how it was the peak of human civilization with how much cool high culture stuff was produced during that era so perhaps we are just unfortunately enough to be caught up in this oscillation phase of the modern human existence and things will eventually go back up like they did for a brief period between the 90's and early 2000's
