>>16026114>Thing is, faster doesn't necessarily mean better, simple as. This place being the biggest is more of a curse on it than anythingI agree that faster isn't inherently better, but I wouldn't say 4chan's size is a net negative, in fact I'd say the opposite. Yes it comes with drawbacks, but ultimately it gives you more chances to receive decent replies because you get to hear from more people.
>but for me, I get the kind of interaction I want more often in those placesHow would you describe the types of interactions you want? Is it mostly dependent on the type of people?
>There are a fair amount of okay ones around here, sure, but the majority are just generic, surface level people you'd find anywhere else.Yeah, it feels like this place is full of fringe normies and the actual ultra-outcasts and weirdos are a minority. Personally I don't mind that, though.
>The personalities you run into when you delve into the obscure parts of the internet are always just more interestingCan you give some examples? I've only been on a few altchans very sparsely.
I guess I just consider the other chans to be tumbleweeds, around for a bit then gone forever. So even if you prefer them over this place, at least this place will basically always exist. That's why when you say terminal imageboard addiction, I can't help but imagine you always coming to 4chan, even if it this place isn't your #1.
