Remember that the eggs that feed the Dot results can't read minds. In fact since the RNG measures results from real-world processes, they measure everything *but* consciousness. This is what the creator of the Dot has said is the biggest misconception about the Dot. It can't go into people's minds and read their thoughts - it's measuring the real-world effects *of* consciousness, not consciousness itself.
