that's cause i'm not happy with how they turned out. i think i did overcook them. it was completely solid on the inside, no moisture like in the cut he showed. that said, it definitely wasn't cakey, the inside looked like a solid block of chocolate, it was just softer and chewier. people who've had brownies said this was more like fudge. it still tasted good and all but my main motivation in making these foreign recipes isn't just making something tasty, it's finding out what these foods are supposed to taste like, since i'm no globetrotter and it's unlikely i'll experience them all
anyway, how are you even supposed to tell if a browney's overcooked? it's not like you can judge by appearance since it's always a brown turd. am i supposed to rely purely on memorizing how my oven affects them
