A man walks up to the sea with an empty glass, and scoops a bit of seawater. He holds it aloft "Behold, I have contained the Sea!" The Sea continues to froth and sway.
The man takes his glass of sea water home, and places it on a shelf. "I have laid claim to the Sea" he think as he lays to bed. The Sea continues to froth and sway. In the morning, the glass is slightly emptier by a minute amount, so the man seals the glass within a vacuum "I hold the Sea" The Sea continues to froth and sway.
Days go by, seasons pass, the man marries, has children, and as an old man stares at the vial of seawater. "I have conquered the Sea" The Sea continues to froth and sway.
The man is buried, and the possessions are sold. The vial sits in a store for 200 years, until a storm destroys the shop, causing the vial to break. The sea water evaporates, and enters the atmosphere, where it is taken out to Sea.
The Sea continues to froth and sway.
