>>15846977>they were religious fanaticis, their leader being on the front would make a senseI suppose he could be in the front, but he still wouldn't be going in head-first, right? Since he's obviously not expendable. He'd definitely be guarded and still relatively in the backline of the formation, I feel like. So, his weapon still just wouldn't be seeing much action, anyhow. But I guess I'm pushing it, in any case he should obviously have one whilst being there. But, you know, maybe that's not right. I get this image in my head that, while being in the front, he would be acting as if he's not in the middle of a battlefield at all, and he'd be chanting stuff and maybe reading something off a book, much like the one in
>>15846625. I think that's already a bit of a trope with the religious leader thing, no? Maybe that's why I'm thinking of it that way.
Doesn't it kind of fit in with the fanatic aesthetic that he'd be out there with his troops, without even carrying a weapon? Maybe it's just a bit generic in that regard, though.
>maybe that leader guy once visited them and was gifted that sword. It could be, but, I figure that, being so obsessed with their own religion, they wouldn't like to carry anything from another legion's, you know? I figure that even if they're both about occultism, what they think of it going in-depth would definitely be way different.
>Another difference is pose, hands would be up in airYeah, doesn't that kind of go along with what I mentioned before? I guess it doesn't make an insane amount of difference whether it's with a weapon or not, though.
>going to give him some unique helmetI wonder if that would go along with the religious look. You'd figure not, but, I think it could work. Especially if you painted the helmet in a specific way or something, I don't know.
