Jesus is considered a Bodhisattva by many buddhists, some even claim he was close to Buddhahood, which I for one doubt, but he certainly was very empathetic. Didn't he say that whatever someone would do for him (personally) would be done for God and be requited by God? Independent of what that person believed! This is unconditional love and rightfully being praised.
